Aurisina Fiorita is a marble or, better said, a calcareous sedimentary rock of Italian extraction and with a gray-brown background with a caffelatte tone. Coming from the quarries of the Carso Triestino and in particular from the municipality of Duino-Aurisina (from which it takes its name), Aurisina Fiorita marble has a good availability and can be extracted in blocks of different sizes.

The hazelnut-gray background of Aurisina Fiorita is brecciated and studded with a rich presence of organic fragments and fossils varying in shape, size and color. From a chemical-physical point of view, Aurisina Fiorita is a compact stone material with excellent properties: which is why it is considered a perfect stone for indoor and outdoor architecture (floors, walls, fireplaces, shower trays, etc.), for decorative elements and for the creation of statues and monuments. Among the places in Italy where it is possible to find Aurisina Fiorita stone, we mention the Central Station of Milan in which 38,000 tons of Aurisina Fiorita were used for cladding, flooring as well as for statues and other decorative elements.
