Breccia paradiso

breccia paradiso marble

Among the exclusive brown marbles of the Italian stone market, we can find the Breccia Paradiso, a brown breccia extracted in the territory of Stazzema, in the province of Lucca. Breccia Paradiso marble is mainly composed of pieces of dolomite and a small part of limestone. These elements are then cemented again by static calcite: the result is a compact material with excellent mechanical characteristics, that is, resistance to compression, shear, shocks and bending. Furthermore, since Breccia Paradiso has a good water repellency, it can also be used successfully in outdoor contexts.

From a chromatic point of view, Breccia Paradiso is a marble with a prevailing dark brown and gray color which often shows off warmer and brighter shades tending to beige and hazelnut. The marvelous stone surface of the Breccia Paradiso marble is then adorned with a “spider web” of golden and sometimes white veins which makes it even more precious and sought-after. Each slab of Breccia Paradiso marble, in fact, is a work of art with which any part of the house can be decorated.
