Calacatta Lincoln marble is an exceptional white marble from North America frequently used for the creation of architectural works of classical inspiration and coverings in luxury environments.
The Calacatta Lincoln is a white calcite marble that has been extracted since 1873 in good quantities in a quarry located in the town of Marble in Colorado. Known mainly as the Colorado Yule marble, Calacatta Lincoln marble is famous for being used for the construction of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. at the beginning of the twentieth century.

The clean white background and the soft yet distinct anthracite gray veins and light gray shades make the Lincoln Calacatta marble a true excellence of the American stone sector and give it such a beauty that it can be equated in elegance and classicism with other famous Italian marbles of the same type (hence the reference to “Calacatta” in the name Calacatta Lincoln marble).
Thanks to the good productivity of the quarry and the possibility of obtaining this material in large quantities, Calacatta Lincoln marble is widely used by architects and interior designers within large projects and luxury villas for the creation of floorings and vertical coverings. Calacatta Lincoln marble, with its pure white background and the subtle gray and silver veins, is a white marble that undoubtedly recalls the classicism but which can also be inserted in the most modern environments thanks to its timeless aesthetics.
