Verde Saint Denis marble is a rock that is quarried in the Aosta Valley but has a different and lighter colored background than the other varieties of Verde Alpi green marble varieties present in the Alpine region. The veins that run along the block of Verde Saint Denis marble are a decidedly lighter shade of green, sometimes almost tending towards white. Verde Saint Denise marble is also known by the name San Denise marble.
