Rosa Egeo marble is a pink colored marble from Greece. Rosa Egeo marble is extracted in various quarries located in the localities of Lafkos, Magnesia, Pilion, Marathon and Attika. It is a marble available both in slabs and in blocks but whose availability is very scarce.
Rosa Egeo marble is characterized by a light pink background and by numerous veins that make it appear of an intense pink color. The structure of this pink marble is quite fragile, almost glassy, and for this reason rosa Egeo marble slabs are almost always resinated with the aim of making them structurally more resistant.
Rosa Egeo marble is first of all installed indoors, for example for the construction of wall coverings, floors, kitchen countertops, shower trays and bathroom furniture in general.
Finally, as regards its uses, rosa Egeo marble is also used in contexts in which it is possible to take advantage of its natural transparency: creation of sacred art objects, vases, bathroom furnishings and the like.
