Rosa Beta Marble

rosa beta

Rosa Beta marble is a pink and grey marble of Italian origin, quarried in Sardinia. Rosa Beta marble is very similar to rosa Porrino pink marble but has darker tones tending to grey and walnut. Due to its excellent technical characteristics and the very affordable price, rosa Beta marble is one of the most requested granites in the stone field.
Geologically speaking, rosa Beta marble is not a marble but a pink granite with a compact structure and a uniform and homogeneous texture.

Like all granites, rosa Beta marble has a high resistance and a low liquid absorption index, features that make it an excellent material for the construction of kitchen or bathroom countertops. Rosa Beta marble is also used for external and internal flooring as well as for stairs, windowsills and thresholds.
In recent years, designers have experimented with different types of finishes on granite but, despite this, the preferred finishes for rosa Beta marble remain the flamed one (especially for outdoors) and the polished one (especially for indoor applications such as kitchen or bathroom countertops).
