Fior di Pesco marble

fior di pesco marble

Fior di Pesco marble is a classic Italian natural stone as well as the only metamorphic marble from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Fior di Pesco marble, in fact, is also known by the name Fior di Pesco carnico marble, precisely because of its place of origin: the Carnic Alps. Fior di Pesco marble can only be found in a quarry in the municipality of Forni Avoltri (Udine).
Fior di Pesco marble is a valuable material in which gray is the predominant color. However, the abundant presence of pink and ivory veins creates an elegant blend with a soft purple overall color.
